Important Advice on Reporting a Positive Test for Coronavirus during the Christmas Holidays

Dear Parents and Carers

The school is required by the Government to assist in identifying close contacts and advising parents and carers for the need for self-isolation.

For the first 6 days after teaching ends, if a pupil or staff member tests positive for coronavirus having developed symptoms within 48 hours of being in school the children and staff within that class bubble will be required to self-isolate and stay at home as the individual may have been infectious whilst at school.

During the Christmas Holiday if your child tests positive for Coronavirus please can you complete an online form which can be found here:

Report your child has tested positive for Covid-19

If your child’s class have to self-isolate due to a positive case within their Year Group Bubble during the first 6 days after teaching ends we will notify you via text message and place an alert on the school website.

It is very important that we have up to date contact details for all parents and carers so that we can keep you fully informed.
