Dear Parents and Carers
R.E: Year R, 1 and 6 children returning to school
From the June 1st the school has been open for our Key Worker Group and for all the children in Years R, 1 and 6.
The number of children in each Year group has been quite consistent but we are now finding that as the term has gone on more parents are now returning their children to school. While this is most welcome it is proving to be quite disruptive as returning pupils are not used to the new school routine and teachers are having to spend time with catch up activities/further explanation which is disrupting the work of the wider established group of children.
We have now taken the decision that if parents and carers of these year groups wish their children to return to school they should return to fulltime education by Monday 22 June. This will enable us to fully implement our risk assessment to ensure the safety of all the children, staff and wider community.
The school will expect all children back by this date so that we can make some educational impact on pupils learning with a period of four weeks left in school.
If you wish to return your child to school please contact me by Friday 19tJune at: email@example.com
