Mrs Annemarie Whittle CEO of KSCP visit to the school
Dear Parents and Carers,
One of the best parts of my role as the Chief Executive of the Kent Catholic Schools’ Partnership is visiting our schools and having the opportunity to meet with the children and staff.
Today, I spent a wonderful morning at St Simon’s; spending time with Mr McCabe, attending the KS1 assembly, visiting the classes and meeting staff & children. It was lovely to hear the children’s thoughtful prayer contributions in assembly along with their pride as they received their rewards for hard work, progress and excellent manners.
It was fabulous in Year 6 to talk to the children about their learning during multi-cultural week, they explained their impressive knowledge and thoughtful understanding with great enthusiasm.
Across the school the children displayed their kind attitudes towards one another and the staff modelled positive and warm relationships. I am sure that you are rightly proud of your children, and I share that pride in the knowledge that St Simon of England Catholic Primary School, your children and the staff are part of our Trust.
I would like to thank everyone for making me feel so welcome and I very much look forward to visiting the school again soon.
All best wishes,
Annemarie Whittle CEO
