Weekly News Friday 15th July
Dear Parents and Carers
Open evening
We had an excellent turnout of parents and carers at open evening on Wednesday. It is good to welcome the large number of parents and carers who dropped in to visit their children’s classes and view their work. Well done it really does give the children a boost as they like to show off their work.
School Disco
The school disco was a great success. All the children seemed to thoroughly enjoy the event even though it may have been a little noisy for some (I am sure I will soon get over it).
This event could not have taken place if it wasn’t for the support of the parents and carers who arranged the disco and the staff who helped to supervise the children and make sure all they all had a great time. Thank you to all our helpers.
A great big thank you to our D.J Malcolm who has donated his fee for the disco to the Help Ukraine Appeal.
Year 6 Performance of their Play “Super Stan”
Year 6 had the whole school and their parents and carers roaring with laughter when they performed their play “Super Stan”. The performance was fantastic one of the best I have seen. We really are going to miss the children when they move on as they are such a really talented bunch.
Well done to Miss Wood, Mrs Gibbs and Mrs Withey-Harrison who helped the children prepare the performance.
