Welcome to Year 1's class page 

Dear Parents, Carers and Children,

We welcome you back for a busy Term 2. 

We will continue to focus on place value, addition and subtraction in Maths. Our English lessons will focus on the story of Katie Morag who lives on a remote island in Scotland. 

In History we will learn about the famous explorers from the past. In RE we are learning about the Creation story and will focus on the season of Advent later in the term. 

Please ensure the children have coats for the every changing weather
