Home Learning

The main purpose of home learning during this period of closure is to provide children with the opportunity to continue with their learning at home. Much of the work planned will need to be supervised and monitored by parents and carers.

Class teachers will monitor work completed in online software sites such as Purple Mash and My Maths. This is the work that needs to be completed and submitted by 4:00p.m each week day.

If parents have any questions or queries for class teachers regarding home learning please can they use the following email address: home.learner@st-simon.kent.sch.uk

We will continue to develop our resources for home learning.

A Letter from Mrs. Eldridge.

Dear children,

I have really missed coming into school to read with you. It is always wonderful for me to witness how much you enjoy reading and to see the progress you make each term.

It is really important that you carry on reading while school is closed. You can read by yourself, or to a member of your family. You can even read to your dog if you have one!

Just keep reading!

I hope you all have a Happy Easter and I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Best wishes

from

Mrs Eldridge
