Year 1

Welcome to Year 1's class page

Dear Parents, Carers and Children,

Welcome to Year One!

I am looking forward to getting to know each and every member of our class, as we begin our learning journey in Year One.

Please find the Curriculum Map and Chilli Challenge for Term 1 on this page.

Thank you for your continued support,

Mr Macmillan-Parks

Notice: As part of our 'Take One Picture' project, we have been looking at Claude-Joseph Vernet's painting 'A Shipwreck in Stormy Seas'. Inspired by this painting, we have been testing materials to see if they're waterproof and have designed our very own boats this week, to make and test in the first half of next week.

If you have any materials that your child could use (e.g. plastic bottles, plastic containers, egg boxes and sponges), could they bring them in at the start of the week please.

Many thanks,

Mr Macmillan-Parks
